Alisa Rosenthal is jazzed to return to the Newport for her encore! Fresh off running "Big Honor Student Energy" at the Minnesota Fringe Festival for two weeks, she's previously taken the show in 2024 to IndyFringe, Elgin Fringe, Rhinofest and in 2023 to the New York Gotham Story Telling Festival. Previous shows include "One-Woman 'Beaches'" (2022), "Songs to Caftan In" (2019), and "The Plucky Rosenthal Show" (2016). A semi-finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award, she’s worked with the Neo-Futurists, Zanies, iO Theatre, the Chicago Women’s Funny Fest, and the Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival. She’d give this bio a B+/A-.
