Chicago Humanities
ROLES: CREATIVE CONTENT COORDINATION, COPY, SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE MANAGEMENT, PODCAST PRODUCER & HOST
Chicago Humanities went through a rebrand in 2022 - I was brought on in the Marketing Department to create and project manage a new podcast, Chicago Humanities Tapes, building and maintaining the podcast webpage in addition to creating auxiliary content for the organization's website, social media, and collaborating on copy. I worked closely with the contracted designers on the overall design and logo for the podcast, integrating seamlessly with the brand voice.
Creating 50 episodes over 4 seasons, our listenership matched our ticket sales 1:1, extending brand awareness, and exemplifying our commitment to accessibility by giving these incredible programs a second life beyond their original Chicago venues.
I'm especially proud of our viral Rachel Maddow program, my studio interview with hip hop professor the Notorious Ph.D., and our popular merchandise collaboration I spearheaded with local vendors Field Notes and Busy Beaver Button Co.
Skills: Adobe Creative Cloud, Wagtail, Mailchimp, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Canva, Instagram, YouTube, data analysis, managing contracts and speaker agreements

Collaboration with Art Design Chicago
One of my most meaningful achievements during my time with Chicago Humanities was amplifying the programming surrounding inaugural artist in residence Alberto Aguilar. Working closely cross-departmentally with the Programming and Development Departments, we were able to identify key needs with this lateral piece of content. Traveling to his home studio, I was able to see his work first-hand, creating a compelling piece of strategic marketing content that had a life far beyond our initial podcast interview. Presented in collaboration with Art Design Chicago and funders the Terra Foundation, I re-edited the program to air on Bridgeport's public radio station, Lumpen Radio. And on a personal note, I appreciated getting to chat, educator to educator!
